From a single garden tree to a multi-tree council contract. Every job is looked at on site first, then carried out by NPTC certified climbers and ground crew.
Full and sectional felling for trees of any size, including tight-access and rigged removals close to buildings, boundaries and roads. Where a tree is too big or too close to a structure to drop in one go, we rig it down in controlled sections or bring in a mobile crane to lift it out.
Formative, crown lift and deadwood pruning, carried out to BS3998. Good pruning is about the tree's long term health and shape as much as the job in front of you, so our climbers cut back to the branch collar rather than wherever happens to be easiest to reach.
Crown reductions and thinning to bring a tree back to a manageable size, get more light into a garden, or take wind loading off a tree standing close to a house. We agree the finished shape with you on site before a single cut is made, so there are no surprises when you come out to look at it.
Shaping, reduction and ongoing maintenance for garden and boundary hedging at any scale, from a garden privet to the farm conifer hedge pictured here, which stood well above head height before we brought it down and levelled it off.
Stumps taken out down to root depth with a grinder, then the ground cleared and levelled so you can turf, plant or resurface straight away. Usually part of a felling job, but we are happy to come out for old stumps left behind by someone else.
Tell us what you are dealing with, or send a photo, and we will come out, take a look and tell you honestly what the tree needs.
